Marco, since small, shows his talent in Sicily. Start playing with Agrigento, then, at sixteen, he moved to Livorno. In 2007, the Montepaschi Siena hires him with a multiyear contract. MY STORY
WONDER AND EMOTIONS
When I was little, I read so many magazines dedicated to basketball. I was always looking for some kind of inspiration that allowed me to grow as an athlete and as a person. Before long, it was naturally identify as a reference those players who, not content with the simple talent, trained every day with great intensity.
Just 5 years old I started playing basketball. Only later, around 14 years old, I realize that this was not just a passion. In the summer of 2005, I received a phone call from one of the best youth sectors of Italy. From there, gradually, I became a professional player.
MY PASSIONS

Since childhood I have a passion for basketball and everything about this amazing sport.
Still a child, Dad taught me to play chess, a game that I love so much, and that gives me hours of fun and relaxation.
I'm not a football fanatic, however I often go to the stadium because I love the atmosphere during matches.
I like to spend time with my family, lunches and dinners to share all together represent the best moments of my life.
I love to travel, I was lucky enough to visit several European capitals such as Barcelona, Paris and Berlin. I spent one of my summers in America, a great experience that gave me a lot of emotions.
I read a lot, Paulo Coelho and Dan Brown are my favorite writers. Lately I like biographies of important people. I often go to music concerts and recently I attend the theater: it will be about age?
